Project Highlight: Alta Strada, Mosaic District

Alta Strada is an Italian restaurant in the Mosaic District in Fairfax, where courtyard foot traffic and visibility play a real role in driving visits. For this project, Joey produced a one-minute video designed to run on the courtyard screen, with clean, readable visuals that work even when people are walking by.

A key part of the shoot came from the front-of-house. The general manager invited several groups of regulars to be in the video, which gave the piece something most brand videos miss: real guests who already love the place. That choice changed the texture of the footage. Instead of staged reactions, we captured natural moments -- friends at the table, familiar staff interactions, and the kind of energy that’s hard to fake.

Because the video was made for an on-site screen, the edit prioritized clarity over complexity. We built the sequence around what a passerby needs to understand quickly: the room, the food, and the people. The pacing was set for distance viewing, with shots that read fast and transitions that hold attention without relying on audio.

The result is a short loop that supports awareness where the decision is happening. If you need a video built for on-site screens -- not just social -- we can plan production around the viewing environment and deliver a finished piece that plays cleanly in real-world conditions.
