Red Lantern DC is a speakeasy-style bar on the third floor at 1245 H St NE in Washington, DC, with late-night hours that run into the weekend. The venue, which opened in January, promotes a mix built around drinks, food, and karaoke.

It has a cozy, Japanese-style karaoke-room vibe: a single, intimate room anchored by the bar, with the karaoke running on a large screen that becomes the focus once the night gets going. The layout keeps everyone in the same shared space, which makes the room feel social by default -- close enough for reactions, sing-alongs, and the kind of couple moments that translate well on camera.
